What is Acacia Powder?
Acacia confusa is a species of tree in the Leguminosae (pea) family, native to Southeast Asia. Commonly known by names such as Acacia Petit Feuille, Small Philippine Acacia, Formosa Acacia (or Taiwan Acacia), and Formosan Koa, it typically grows to a height of up to 15 meters. This tree has become widespread in tropical Pacific regions, including Hawaii, where it is considered invasive. The wood of Acacia confusa has a density of approximately 0.75 g/cm³. In Taiwan, it is used for making mine support beams and is also converted into charcoal for domestic use. Additionally, Acacia confusa plays a role in traditional Taiwanese medicine.
