Galla chinensis (Rhus chinensis Mill.), a female hornbeam or double egg aphid of the Homoptera Aphididae, parasitizes on the tender leaves or petioles of the sumacaceae plant "Salina" and other plants of the same genus, and produces a stab wound. A kind of cyst-like poly biological insect galls, which are obtained after baking and drying. In addition, Galla Chinensis is also a kind of medicinal material, which can treat many diseases.

The pharmacological effects of Galla Chinensis
1. Astringent effect: The active ingredient of Galla Chinensis Extract is tannic acid, which can coagulate the tissue proteins of the skin, mucous membranes and ulcers.
2. Hemostatic effect: Rhus chinensis Mill. has the effect of promoting blood coagulation and can be used to stop bleeding.
