What is Horsetail Leaf Extract?
The principal constituents of horsetail leaf extract, which is a fine powder with a brownish yellow color, include organosilicon, astragalin, salicin, and vitexin. The extract from the horsetail plant is chosen to be the raw ingredient.
Material preparation: break up or chop 50g of the raw quince material into pieces, then press them through a sieve with a mesh size of 10–40.
Using the procedure for extracting alcohol: extract twice using 200–400 ml of an aqueous solution containing 40–80% ethanol; the temperature for extraction is 70–90 °C, and the extraction times are 2 hours and 2 hours, respectively;
